What age did you learn that Santa Clause isn't real at all?

Would you believe that I have believed on Santa Claus til I was 8? I remember when I was still a little kid, when christmas is near, my parents would always ask me, what gift would I want from Santa? I would always think of, "why are do they keep on asking me that? Can I just keep it to myself and not tell them at all?" But they would always insist. And when christmas comes, what I told them would come true. THen, there came a point when I've questioned myself, why do they always let me asleep and not see Santa at all? With those questions at 8years old, I learned to search myself if Santa does exist or not. At 8, I remember my dad told me that you can see Santa everywhere and at anytime. He is just with you all the time. ANd so, I realized that Santa Claus is my Dad and my Mom. How about you? WHen did you realize Santa isn't real at all?

I was around 6 or 7. My father fell down the stairs taking the presents down stairs and i heard him whispering to my mum where she wanted them to go. I actually thought this was funny then because as he fell he shouted a swear word and then all you could hear was my yelling. "are the presents okay? you haven't broke them have you!!". Actually i'll admit i still do find this funny. I know he could of been hurt and me and my brother might of got a broken action man or something but it would be different if he had been hurt. Kudos! ~Joey

Me too!!! I was eight and that christmas after we had unwrapped all the gifts, my sister told me there was no such thing, lol. My parents were right there so this must have been pre-arranged. I have three children of my own now, (12,8 and 7). My twelve year old found out when she was around 9 although I really think she had her doubts and my other two still believe in Santa. Hopefully I will get at least one more year out of them, lol
