I have hear in pop psychology circles that the fear of loss, losing something that you already possess or losing something that you want no matter how fleetingly, is behind over 80% of the decisions that you make in life, and that without this competitive and combative fear that we would remain stuck in entropy forever.

I have read and heard from a number of sources that human beings are largely fear-based. I'm probably one of the ones who leans towards being "stuck in entropy" because I tend to be non-competitive and non-combative to a point of extremity. In most cases where I face a "competitive" situation I tend to just say "yeah, well, whatever, you can have it" and go look for something else.

this is a very thoughgt provoiking thing you are saying, yes I think its fear that drives us to do what we do and what we pursue, may be sometimes conciously and sometimes subconciously. whenI look back on my life then I realise yes y all major life turning decisons were based on fear of one thng or the other. More I think of it and more I gree to it.
