dude there are so many cities that are really good to visit. my personal favs would be Jaipur and udaipur in state of Rajasthan due to the fact there are so many different forts to see and absorb so muc hhistor of all the kings and the english rulers. Those also have very distinct culture that shows compared to other cities and also area and cities around them are not worth missing like jodhpur, amberfort, jaislmer etc. if u are looking for night life and stuff there is always mumbai and new delhi. but u can do that anywhere it is not everywhere u see these grand forts and structures

to do both i would advice u to go to delhi nad mumbai since there are lots of attraction around those cities. as for delhi chandni chowk dont go there just rip offs and not a good area and that is the reason we did not go there. but like i said jaipur nad udaipur not to be missed

you haven't mentioned your purpose of visit to India. is it a pleasure trip, a trip to see historical monuments, a trip to know more about the culture or a trip to know about different religion about Indian Gods or what? but still i would suggest you to go to goa if you wanna have fun. go to manali, shimla, jaisalmer or kerela if you wanna enjoy the breathtaking beauty of nature. if you follow buddhism then visit places like dharamshala or bodh gaya...and i you wanna enjoy the night life Mumbai and Delhi are the best. visiting India once has never been enough for any tourist! Enjoy!

i like kerala .i think its one of the best tourist destination in india. The city of the thousand-headed Anantha, the holy serpent on which Lord Vishnu reclines, Thiruvananthapuram is one of the most beautiful cities of India. Perched on undulating terrain of low coastal hills near the southern edge of the Indian mainland, clean and green, Thiruvananthapuram, which was previously called Trivandrum, is an ancient city with trading tradition dating back to 1000 BC The city is also a welcome departure from other large cities of India in its spacious layout and regulated life. Now the Capital of one of the most fascinating states of India, Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram is an important entry point into India with communication links to Maldives, Sri Lanka and many countries to the West of Arabian Sea. It is also an excellent base to explore the interiors of Kerala, the southernmost region of India, and from Kochi, the Lakshadweep Islands. The city offers all modern facilities needed by a visitor and is a centre for cultural activities.
