Gearing up for "The Big Stom"

Tonight we are expecting our first major snow storm of the season. It's one of those Nor'easters we are famous for...lol Everyone is out shopping, stocking up on milk, bread, batteries..all that stuff you think you will need. Do you join in the shopping frenzy to prepare when a storm is coming??? I have to go buy cat food and can't stand the thought of fighting the crowds...*sigh*

yup we here in michigan are gearing up for a big snow storm as well .No I know i should have gone to the store but its too cold to walk so i will just make do with what we have but we do have a small party store close by i will hit in the am i need to get salt for the sidewalk hope they still have some lol

Well it was a big bust where I am. We got about 2 inches and then tons of rain and a freeze. My front yard is like a big skating rink...lol But the snow is mostly gone. No shoveling thank god..lol

I have never been in a snow storm. But, I think I would love it. I live in the desert. It is hot most of the year. I am thrilled to get rain once a year or two or three. I would gladly send you some of our sunshine, for some of your snow. Kidding aside, I do hope y'all will be safe and get everything that you need. Just stay warm and enjoy your newest addition. I love snowstorms, I love watching them. I love to see the freshly fallen snow. It's so beautiful. But I hate the driving in it, shoveling it and trying to walk in it...lol
