In light of the Governments relaxation of the gaming laws in the United Kingdom and the announcement that Manchester is to get the Uk's first "super casino", is this the only means by which we can bring investment in to areas that need to be regenerated? Is this the sum of our countries collective imagination? And how does placing a place of gambling bring regeneration to an area of East Manchester that needs far more a place to lose the little money they already have?
