Which you prefer to cure your illness, herbs or drugs ?

When i 'm sick, i often confuse, what should i do to cure from illness. Some of my friend ask me to use herbs that he claim no side effect, but other ask to use drugs, prescripted by a doctor, withof course, has additional side-effect. But, i prefer to choose herbs if it's only common sick.
How about you ?

I used to consume a lot of prescribed medicine. Over the years, I realised that such medicine only suppress your illnesses. They do not cure them.
Today, I advocate for herbs in treating illnesses. Of course, it is good to know if your system can take on certain kinds of herbs.
