So I have a 5 month old son and he crys all the time. i really dont know what to do sometimes. I mean i try every thing i have even talked to his doctor about it. Sometimes i just let him cry. but then it makes me cry. I am a young mother. 18. and Im not used to having to cater to someone elses needs. And then my boyfriend just frustrates me even more. All i do is work come home to a mess and try to get my screaming baby to stop crying. WHAT DO I DO? I am the type of person who cannot ask for help because i dont want people to think i am trying to pawn my baby on them and also i dont want them to think that i am the stero type young mother who cannot handle being a mother. I mean i love my son more that anything else in this world. and i do not regret having him. I just wish I could have the confidance in my self to think i am a good mother. If any body has any advice or feels the same way just let me know. i would greatly apprecait it. thanks for listing to my blab.

Hey sis, your not a bad mother. I know Hayden cries alot, but so does Marrissa. Alyssia was the same way and all 4 of mine are just fine. They love me and tell me Im the best mom in the whole world all the time......I know im not, but I do try to be. As long as you are truly trying your best thats what matters! I love you and keep your chin up. Give Hayden loves from Aunt Tabby!

try to be patient with your baby and calm down and take things easy and ask if there is a parent center close from where you live ; they could provide you and your partner free counceling till the babt becomes 5 and than you should pay and they can can get things settle down and try to interact with mother of your age that can give you advices but do't let yourself to the frustration

I know a lot of babies who cry for no reason at all so if your's spends most of it's time wailing away i don't think that makes you a bad mother. Babies sometimes like to make a fuss for no reason at all. But if you are finding it too difficult to cater to your baby's needs i would suggest that you get a nanny or someone responsible

that is quite difficult, bcoz its your first time, first time is really difficult. babies cry because they need something, and bcoz they dont know how to talk yet they cry to get what they want. i have 4 kids but i cant say im an expert every kid has a different character. you just have to spend more time to evaluate what is the cry for. if you will listen very well every cry differs from the other and that signifies on what he/she needs. patience my dear. wink wink
