In a word... NO. Although an online degree shows a odicum of effort beyond no education at all, it is really just a scam and a waste of your money. College teaches more than just materials. It is a focused edcational environment. It is 4 years spent bettering oneself and enhancing skills. It teaches independence and social skills. It nvolves reserach and group presentations. It involves sacrifice, of time and money. Online degrees do none of the above. They are just knowlege based. Unfortuately, your potential boss probably has a degree from a real college and won't be impressed because it is heavily frowned upon by those of us going through the real thing. College is SO SO SO worth it though, no matter what your age. My advice is to check out universities and speak with their counselors about your career aspirations. There is always a way to pay for it. Send me a message even if you'd like any help.
