The currency in Egypt is the Egyptian Pound (£E) which is made up of 100 Piasters. Currency notes are in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 Egyptian Pounds. Coins are available in 5, 10, 20, 25, and 50 Piasters. Exchange rate: US$1 = £E3.39 (indicative only)
