What a lovely Valentine's day. First we have a snow and ice storm so my hubby is working from home today. The schools are closed so my babies are also home with me. Yeah!!!
My kids have been up since 5:00 AM because they were so excited to open their Valentine's-- you would have thought it was Christmas or something, how excited they got over some chocolates and a toy teddy bear.

Happy Valentine's Day to you and your family! Sounds like a nice day with everyone hunkered down at home! We're getting substantial snow here too, today, but everyone's already gone :( Days like this, I'm so glad I work from home. It was't snowing when my hubby had to leave around 4AM and it had only started when the girls had to leave for the bus (too late for school to be closed... plus that's a rare thing here ... they always have to go). So, we'll all exchange our Valentines when they get back home. My husband and I made our own cards this year LOL I insisted and he was totally game for it -- so I can't wait to see what he did :) Have a love-ly day everyone!

Aw, your kids sound so cute and excited!! I wish that something special were going on here today, meaning at my house, but it's just another day like usual. But I hope that you and your family continue to have a very lovely Valentine's Day! ^_^

I love when little kids get so excited over the small things. Enjoy your day with them and your husband. :)
I wish it was snowing in our mountains but it's a beautiful, blue sky filled day. 61 degrees and rising at the moment. My husband is home but sleeping, he had to work a 12 hour graveyard shift last night and then again tonight so no real Valentine's going on in our home today. I'm o.k. with it though. My son is at school and I've been sick with the flu for a week so I didn't get a chance to buy him anything but I plan to later today and will give it to him when he gets home from Track practice.

happy valentines day!! my daughter is 13 and looks forward to every holiday no matter what it is. today she made her hair pink, temporary of course. for st patricks day it will be green!!

My kids had a snow day too, and my hubby was home from work! I got to sleep in until 10 am...woohoo! My kids kept thanking me for their candy too.
