I love music and the first band i ever saw play live was East 17 when i was around 13, i remember being so excited thinking that were going to spot me out of everyone in the crowd and fall in love with me lol, now i couldn't even tell you what songs they sang. What was the first band or artist you saw play live? Are you still a Fan Now? What do you remember about it?

it was the first time I went to a concert and they were....THE DURAN DURAN...I was ..oh I think 11 or 12 ...all teenagers were crazy for Duran Duran or Spandau Ballet..and I had a passion for Duran Duran and Simon Le Bon...I wasn't allowed to go to concert alone, of course..i went with my elder brother and his friends...I can still remember that night..it was a nice and warm night..and everything was marvellous..the music, the audience and of course...they...I remember my brother holding me on his shoulders in order to let me see Simon ( I am not very tall now, imagine as a young girl). It was very nice of my brother...I still listen to the music thy're playing now...even though it is quite different..I'm not a girl any more and they're not the same...

Man i used to love Duran Duran, its funny how so many people had to go to their first concert with an older sibling. Was your brother a fan too? or did he just have to go to take you?

I saw the Eagles in Toronto many years ago. I was already to party when we realized we were sitting directly infront of the Police office so we had to move far away from there. The concert rocked and the party went on without a hitch or a police officer that is. :)

Rod Stewart - Rod Stewart has been around for years and is still singing strong. I saw his concert over 30 years ago!
It must have been Rod Stewart - but it was many years ago! His Valentine's Day concert and he was still with Brit Ekland. Um, I think it was in 1976/1977? Oh boy was that a long time ago!

The first real international band I ever heard was Petra. This was quite a few years ago You can read my review of their concert here http://www.geocities.com/benjiross/petra1.html I'd seen a few local bands and also a group called Carpenters Tools before that.

The first band I saw was Bon Jovi when I was 14-15 I think. It was a show from the These days tour and the first part was by Rainbow but Monkey who later became Finger Eleven that I saw as the first part of Evanescence lol. The show was really great even if I was far. My father was with me and it was one of my greatest experience. I also took the subway for the first time that day. I don,t remember a lot about the show except that he was wearing shoes with light lol

Does anyone remember Trooper "here they come, the boys in the bright white sports car. Waving thier hands in the air. And who do they think they are....." That was my first concert. Mmmmm late 70's. I have not heard anything from them in eons. As I recall it was very exciting!

The first band i saw live was a Spanish one called Hombres G. They're a legend from the eighties here, and they are still together. I never was a big fan of them, but some of their songs are like part of the country's soundtrack, so we all like and know some of their songs. I remember i saw them at my city's bullfighting plaza.

The first I ever saw live was Neil Diamond and boy was it great. I was so "in love" and had such a great time. I am still a big fan of his and have albums and cd's and old records of his. Always will be a favorite of mine.

My first concert was Ministry "The Mind Is a Terrible Thing To Taste" it was at the Cuban Club in Ybor City, FL. I was so drunk, I was underage so I took what I was given, and that night it was a bottle of cheap tequila and a 2 liter of Diet Coke... Yum! Well I stayed in the pit all night and I loved it, I couldn’t have asked for a better first concert..The time I saw them the band comprised of Al Jorgensen, Ogre, Martin Atkins, and the German guy from KMFDM, they had a large chain link fence in fence in front of the stage and we were climbing on it and rocking it back and forth. Yes, I still love them.. In fact I'm listening to them right now..
