The referrer, not the referrals

Is there any way to find out who is your referrer? The person you signed up under? Just wondered, because I noticed (this being my first referral) that you can see who signs up under you. It would be a shame if the person who referred me was inactive. What happens to the money that I earned for them then? Does this happen?

I think unless he/she tell you on this otherwise you wouldn't know was them as mylot didn't make it an indicator for that so far. We can easily trace those who under us but not the one refer us. Personally am fine if the one who refer me was active or inactive since the money is not from me and thats one of the advantages for those who were keen and good in getting lots of referrals in which they will still make their earnings even they were not active at all. The important thing was that it didn't against any regulations and mylot allowed it. Anyway am not under any user here and thus I don't have referrer :)

i know that I tried to sign up under someone but I am not sure if it worked or not. I don't know or remember who it was.
I think that it would be a good idea though to automatically assign a referrer to someone who signs up without one. Even if Mylot were to charge a few cents or so for that honor.
