How many of you are/have studied in Government or Government aided colleges?

I have done my Undergraduation from a reputed Government college that is more than 50 years old and i am proud to say that i have studied in that college because in my country there are only a handful of colleges that have such a long history.
Can you share the history about your colleges and its pride?
