kittens not cleaning properly...help!

our kittens are not cleaning their butts after they crap ... then they come on to the bed and it just messes everything up .. their mother, a really spoilt cat, has now picked that up from her kittens .. and we have cats with muddy butts walking all over the place... help!

I would say take your kittens to the vet and explained the problem. Maybe she/he will have some suggestions.
