Is It agood Idea To Have a Rottweiler ?

Hi all.. How u doin? I will have a farm soon..it is under-construction these days. so iam thinking of a rottweiler to stay there. i will let it grow up for 1 month in my home and then to farm. any suggestions?male/female rott?? Thanx alot.

Rott's are meant to stay with their "pack". They are not meant to be left alone. That goes for any breed though. I would not recommend getting a dog at all for that reason. I would get someone to move in there. Family?

Yes, I'm totally agree with this response. Rottweilers just meant to stay with the owner and his/her family and by no means play a role of sole guard. Great work dmcalgaro....

Rottweilers are definitely wonderful pets to have. I have owned them pretty much all of my life. They are very loyal and make wonderful guard dogs of their territory. I have been showing them for about five years now. One should do alot of research prior to owning their first rottie to make sure it is a breed suitable for their individual family.
