Me and my other half have been trying to have a baby for quite some time now. In May of 2005 we lost our first baby together and I also lost a fallopian tube in the process. Since July of 2005 we decided to try again. It is now February of 2007 and I am still not pregnant. My doctor said that I'm okay so I am wondering if its him or what. I scheduled an appt for next week and I am so scared of what they are going to tell me. Do you think I can still have a baby?

Yes, you can. It is not always true that you ovulate from alternating sides every month. You can ovulate from the same side for months in row. It just depends on which side develops the healthiest follicle. In your case, with just one tube, your other ovary and tube will take over the job. So you will still ovulate every month just like everyone else! God too will bless you. I too wish you a best luck.

Thanks for your response. I heard if you take birth control pills and then stop taking them after a few weeks you will end up pregnant. Have you heard of this or has anyone heard of this?
