They also employ a community rating system that allows you to compete with other writings for the top position, which pays more. I find the this to be both fun and rewarding. Another good site I use is http://www.associatedcontent.com. You can write articles or contribute other media content such as photographs and video. You have the choice of contributing something for free, or requesting payment for it. If it is good enough, they will pay you for your work. Finally, check out http://www.suite101.com. They too will pay you for your freelance writing contributions. Various topics, and you can work your way up to being responsible for a niche as a featured writer. Good luck and keep writing!
