how long does it take you being verbally abused?

some people acuse of something you don't even do.gossips spread a lot without you even knowing that some people falsely knows who you are even you dont even know them at all.what if you have a drunkard father, and he keeps telling you accusations and tell you objective words that made you to disrespect him?what would you do?what if he keeps doin it everytime he's drunk?would you file a case against him even he's your father?just a thought.

Please read your posting before you post it/ if I guessed correct and you are saying your father verbally abuses you when he is drunk, Then the answer is do not stand there and take it,You are not a mat on the floor , walk away and keep away from him. You are only a victim if you are held against your will, and standing there is not being held against your will.He is only abusing you because you are there for the abuse. Keep away from him.

sorry about my post.sometimes my writing takes re-reading before someone understands it.what can i do?i am an asian..hehe.anyways, thanks for the advice but im not a victim here.i'm just taking some scenarios on how someone can deal on it.

i used to be a doormat..now i just keep awy from people who are abusive..now i choose the people i want to be around..that way i don't give anyone the chance to harrass me any more..
