I wonder if the sales for cosemtics and applicators is a good buseinss to start on Ebay? If one had a limited number of items...working the narrow but deep theory, It might be a good way to develop a niche that could be sustainable. I would be interested in anyone's opinion on this idea!

read my other post on brushes hun, I think you need to consider if its really viable and wanted. I would say anything to do with crafting, anything on those lines go for it, but not making cards grrrr can never sell mine :( you need to make something people want and can't get, stamps for example.

I don't know about the other ladies here at mylot or on ebay but I'd rather try on the makeup before buying it online. It's very difficult to guess how it would look with your complexion.

From the huge list of things to sell in the cosmetic category, I would say there is a good interest in it. However, you your homework first and see if your prices will be competitive with what is already offered there. Unique items and brands seem to do best there.

the only way to know is to try it i suppose. it all depends on your descriptions. make them very detailed and have lots of pictures. try selling cosmetics you use yourself so you can put yours on yourself to show how it looks on an actual person
