The TV show Friends

I see there were no discussions on the best TV show ever made. How is that possible when you can find almost everything discussed on here? So here it is, say anything you want about Friends. I think it's the best show, it's funny yet serious at the same time. I've seen every episode, so if you have any questions about any of them, just ask.

ACK! I hate to see threads with no replies to them!
I started watching the show a long time ago but lost interest in it when things started repeating themselves. Now that it's on in the evenings, I can catch up on some of the things that I missed out on. The show has a lot of interesting characters like Janice and all of Monica's boyfriends. The main cast worked well together and always had a lot of running jokes that carried over from other shows.
One thing I never saw was how things ended with Monica and Jon Favreau's character Pete Becker. He wanted to be a UFC fighter and the lsat episode I saw with him was when Monica saw a receipt for a ring and assumed it was an engagement ring. Any idea what happened with all that?
Great idea to start a thread about this show, I can't believe that there weren't any topics for it. As you said, there seems to be something about anything and everything at myLot!

The receipt for the ring was for Petes ring for him to practice in. He wasn't proposeing. He does a couple of fights and gets really hurt. Monica goes and sees him after his second fight and tells him that it is too painful for her to watch him hurt himself like that. Says he has to choose between UFC and her. He says he has never given up on anything, so she leaves. That is the end of Pete.
