My PC keeps on hanging in every interval. It shows an error that "your system is running with too little virtual memory". What troubleshooting can I do and what fix can I apply to make my PC run without any obstacles?

You are running that you are not aware about. So probably there are some virus that are running and eating your RAM. I suggest you remove them. And another thing. If your OS is WinXP, make sure you have a 512mb to avoid hang and crashes.

1) You can reduce the number of back ground applications running in your PC. 2) Increase your RAM or virtual memory(increasing the virtual memory will give away the low memory warnings but less performant) 3) Could be some virus, scan your hard drive. 4) Manipulating the services section will gain you significant system memory... Hope this helps...
