Porkchops and applesauce.

I don't know how good the two are together but I do remember "peter brady" on the Brady Bunch ..saying "pork chops and applesauce" during one of the episodes..Do you remember that?+

We always ate applesauce with pork chops. My mother told us so we wouldn't get worms when we were little. But you are correct, it lessens the chances of getting ill from undercooked pork. Now, I must have applesauce with porkchops, however, I never eat it with anything else. In fact, I don't even like it.

Yes I do know that it is a good thing. I like my meat moist and not dry so it is always a good thing to use.

We always had pork chops with applesauce when I was growing up. I'm going to have to ask my Mom if this was why. It just seems like the natural combination, doesn't it? I don't have to worry about undercooked meat, though; I like all of my meat well-done.

that is to funny my hubby has to have apple sauce when ever we have prokchops and i always asked y and he said cuz he has always had it with them so i asked him mom once and she didn't know she said it was something her mom always did so thank you now i know and i can let them know
