Do you guys think that there is no point in f2p pking when u fighting mages?

Ok let me tell you guys sumthing. My mom or dad will never pay for membership so i have to be f2p. i think that pkig on f2p is just a waste of time when you are fighting mages. they are way to extremely overpowered. Lvl 13 mages can hit anywhere from 7-10!! I try to fight them with rangers and i always end up losing against those stupid mages. Now of course rangers own mages on P2P members. but on f2p there is no point trying to fight mages

It's true that rangers own mages on P2P worlds, because members have the access to Dark bows and dragon fire arrows... I'll give you a tip for fighting mages though. Mages' clothes are weak agaisnt scimitars because they slice through the robes. So when fighting mages, I'd reccomend you get a rune scimitar.

I think they are too overpowered in f2p. I had the same problem a while back. But my friend suggested that I get my prayer up really high so they cant mage me.So I got my combat up, killed hill giants, and got my prayer to around 43. BOOM!!!It worked. And at the same time I was ranging them! Thats all I can think of.

There really is no way to proove that rangers are better then mages in members. I have seen many people get their hats hamded to them with ice barage. It really depends on the person and how skilled they are at kping. Also in f2p mages are weak! If you're tired of getting owned by them get 40 rang do dragon slayer and atleast get to level 50 because by then im sure you would be able to hit higher then any many can whitch is only 16. So what im trying to say is i think you are very wrong in what you are sayng.

they suck after lvl 39, rangers start hitting constant 10s with range...16 is their max at lvl 39 but they slowly lose power in f2p for sure. Mleee owns them really bad without armor on

Get a higher combat lvl (40-50) and all the mages are in p2p. A faster way is to get ranged, with a 2 hander finisher and hit them with the 2h when they dont expect it, getting a k0, or you can use magic as a finisher, as that hits extremely high at low levels.
Another way is to make mage pures and play with a friend, I do that all the time, you can get so many kills, but if your getting attacked by a team, make sure you tank the damage and eat like crazy, mages have low def and low hp.
