How good was bill gates as student?

I believe that Bill gates is an intelligent guy. But how intelligent is he?. Has he ever win a scholarship, or become a honour student in his study?

He went to a very exclusive prep school and supposedly got interested in programming in 8th grade. He attended Harvard but dropped out; I don't know how his grades were while there, but he must have shown academic promise to get in there in the first place.

at least in his elementary school, people noticed that he was excellent in mathematics. yeah it depend on what the definition of 'good student'

He left Harvard to concentrate on Microsoft, which he founded in college; I didn't mean to suggest that he flunked out.

yeah i guess we know that it doesnt mean to leave school is good but always there be an excuse to do something that we believe is extra promising.
