Ingestion of hand sanitizer can result in alcohol poisoning. Hand gel sanitizer and wipes contain a surprising amount of alcohol. Bottles do contain explicit warnings, but most people dont' think of the poisoning danger. Don't leave the sanitizer down for the child to get hold of.
