Have you ever been in a really bad storm?

No I have never been a storm before.And I hope I do not have to experience one.I think it is a very horrible experience that must be.

I have been through many huricans, Texas thunderstorms with tornadoes and hail, ice storms, floods and so forth. I have been in 3 different storms that had tornadoes in them and I tell you driving in every one of them is terrifying. One was going to New Orleans to visit my husbands Gma and going over that bridge was awfull...we all had to stop and it was so loud it sounded like a train. It was a tornado! Then on a trip back from New Orleans we ran into another (different time) and got caught in the same type of storm; the tornadoe was very close it pushed out car contstantly. We had to stay there for 30 min. and when it was clear enough to move we saw that we were very close to going over the edge of a deep ditch full of fast running water. Then in Houston, we got caught in one on the was home from his parent house and got pushed I don't know how many feet, but enough to take many year off my life and so we stayed by a fuel station until it lightened up. When we got home, we found out we were in the MIDDLE of a tornado and when we went back out the next day you could see it, where it hit and how far it pushed us. So scary

Wow that is preety scary. You are breave enough to passing through this. I did not experience a bad strom really like you did going through it in the out side. When ever I experienced a tornado or blizzard, I was safe at home. But in home also you can't say how much safe you are really.

I hvae been in serveral a blizzard in 77 or 78 a tornado in 99 and I was just in a blizzard which I was close in for 2 days I have always wanted to live at the foot of the mountains and the snow that was on the ground before they plowed it was 9 1/2 inches and after they plowed the parking lot I live at the foot of a mountain of snow lol

I can't remember the bad snow storm if it was in Hali, but I sure remember the hurricane..lol. I went out taking pictures because I never had the chance to even be close to one, which I am greatful for btw. There was a few people that went out with me and we hung onto each other, my oldest daughter even came out with us. We sat in the stairwell most of the night and cooked hotdogs on a little electric grill and had hot chocolate :)

No I ve never been in a really bad storm. So I wonder how it looks like!
