Do you believe that some children can bring good luck to the family?

My father has a favorite son. When he was born, my father had a new business. Sometimes he wants to say he had only one son. Others want to adopt, they say it is good luck.

yes its a myth and I do believe in it coz I know some of our friends and relatives that one of their kids brings luck to them however, it is the role of parents not to neglect the other children

From what country are you? For the Chinese, Sons are given more priority than Daughters. Two of my brothers are very good in business. Bothe also had good luck from their sons and daughter. Some said five sons and 2 daughters will bring more luck than the parents can accumulate. Some says Seven Sons are good luck.

yes, I believe in this. In my neighbour, there was a couple married for 6 years but with no child. They took some medical treatment and then have a baby son with good luck to the family. His father get promoson on the same month. There are many changes in their life.
Same happen my friend, who try to do some business but every time he was fail. Due to his failer his parent dicieded to marry him. After the marriage his situation change little bit. He got his luck after a baby girl put her little foot in their house.
These are not false stories. Earlier I do not beliieve this but now I believe.

I want to adopt, hopefully it will bring me good luck. The fortune teller told me, since my nephew stayed with me. She said much money will flow into your house. It must be true. He live like King Henry the VIII. He eats like a king.

maybe it depends, if you were struggling financially, then you had a child and everything turned upside down and you became lucky, of course you'd think it was your child that brought you luck. but although you get lucky with that child, you would surely not neglect your other children because they serve different purposes to the family. maybe the other children gives you luck in different forms other than finance
