Motorcycle riders are in a unique positon on the road. They endoy the freedoms that come with their chosen form of transfortation, but they are also expose to dangers not ment by automobile drivers and other motorists. The lack og any substantial protection barriers between a motorcycle and the road, as well as the difficulty that other motorists may have in anticipating and seeing a motorcle,leave riders prone to serious injury in the event of an accident. Motercycle rider, therefore, must be aware of their legal rights and remedies if they are involve in a traffic accident. what can we do to lessen the injury to the rider? can we force the manufaturer of motorcycle to create mach safer motorcycle, or safety equipmen to be add on to motorcycle. feel free to comment on this.

Its true if you wreck while on a bike, its gonna hurt. Where I live its the law to wear a seatbelt in a car. There is no law about wearing a helmet. That doesn't make sense to me. Car drivers need to be more aware of the motorcycles, the motorcycle riders need to be more careful. I don't think there is much to do to make it safer, the rider needs to use common sense. Wear protective clothing, wear a helmet and eye protection.

yea that would be a good idea. that's why i'm not getting a motorcycle. i'll be too tempted to do a wheelie and i'll die or something. lol
