Yes, i do. Especially when i go to some other places either on business trips, vacation or family matters. Besides writing to my family, i will also write to myself. Strange, huh..Anyway, i wrote to myself so that i'll be able to collect either stamps or simply just to get the chop stamped on my postcards/envelopes. It's a way for me to remember the dates of which i go that place and the memories that i had there. It's a great way for me to track especially when i travel within my country because it's not recorded in my passport. Oh, i also write especially when i am on aeroplanes because they give free stationary and i get to post them for free too..!!

Writing to yourself doesn't seem so strange to me. It seems like another form of journaling. I may have to actually practice your "strange" behavior next time I go on vacation. It would definitely help me remember when so I could scrapbook more accurately!

For close friends and family I use both email and postal mail to keep in touch. I use email for daily or weekly contact. Holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, and other special days warrant paying postage so the recipient may get something in the mail for their special day. It is always heartwarming to me when I receive cards of which my loved one has went to the trouble to go to a store and pick out for me.

I love the postal service and hope it is around for ever more. I trade books online and we send them through the postal service. I also get mail from my mother, she does not do computers, she is almost 80. I like walking out my long driveway to the mail box and seeing what is there. I also get my Netflix movies in the mail. Still like my catalogues too. I do alot online, however, have a great real world life.
