How long is your longest relationship (boyfriend/girlfriend relationship )?

My longest relatioship was w/ my son's father. I was w/ him for shy of 11 yrs. I met him through a friend. We had alot in common such as outings he liked the same stuff I did. We had a good relationship as far as talking and shareing our feelings with eachother. We did disagree about alot of things towards the end and I think that's what drove us apart besides his lieing to me which he never did in the beginning of our relationship. Him and I have a 9 yr. old together and I left him when our son was 5. He is now married to someone else and is doing ok From what I hear from his wife ( my son's stepmother ) My son lives w/ him. Things change as time goes on but yah in the beginning we had alot in common.

Hello anne_143god. My longest realtionship and first relationship was for 3 years. It lasted that long because I forgave him when he cheated on me, I always understood him eventhough it hurt me. Like there was a time when he told me we couldn't see each other because of fiancial problems. We rarely see each other. Funny thing is we dont have anything in common. He is an outdoor kind of person whileim the opposite. We broke up at 2006 because he cheated on me.
