Hi gahsoon! Welcome to myLot! Starting a discussion needs a lot of time and visualization in able for you to decide that discussion can really make myLot members respond most of the times discussion pertaining to marriage, friends, work, earnings, online work are one of the best sellers specially about mylot topics. But it helps also that you have lots of friends list that are very willing to respond to your discussion and obcourse you will do the same too when they start a new discussion as well. A good discussion needs a relevant topic that all kinds of myLot member can relate. Hope this be of help.

Different members would have diverse views and opinions. As for me, give me topics on international affairs, geographical knowledge, holiday and travel, just to name three. What ever you post, make sure it provokes our thoughts to want to think and know more about it. Your title must be catchy too.

oh I am here from much time (3 months) but still haven't understood how to write an interesting discussion =). Some discussion gets very popular (with more than 50 replies) and they seems to be so stupid!! I have noticed a thing: if you work hard and you are serious and your discussion is really interesting, people will reply to you! I don't know why I have done some of my discussions that seems so interesting (I talked about an Asteroid very dangerous for earth because in 2036 could hit earth! But none replied....doh!). I have done another interesting discussion too..about Cold Fusion and nuclear fusion...and I received so little replies. Maybe you should write something interesting...and not so specific, so *all* can reply to your post without being graduate. Your discussion should be more general as possible!

Ya I think the topic should be as General as possible, because I have no idea how to respone on your Cold Fusion thing :p and lets work even harder to understand other members.

Well i think the key is in the writing, a well thought out and well written post will always generate responses. Don't just post one liners and always answer your own questions and ask as many questions as you can in relation to your topic and post to encourage more responses. Always mark your best response, its a courtesy to others and it will make people come back to your posts. And last but not least post to others discussions as more often than not they will return the favor

Thanks a lot, I think I start to catch up, after a week of 'Playing'. Ya you are right, replying respone is a must as I always check if other was replying me. and for the Best respone, I read others advise and I think I will mark it 2 weeks after the discussion started.
