Do you believe in psychokinesis or in E.S.P.'s? Do you believe that -what a mind can achieve, the body can recieve? Take for example on quitting to smoke, how do you apply the power of the mind to overcome it? I think it's more than patience and perseverance to attain a perfect concertration in dealing with mind over matter, mostly used for self-help personalities through the power of concentration and postive thinking. I think it is a great help for all of us to improve our life and means of living. Do we have to believe in this, just to prove on something or it's just our stubborness that we take it for granted?

I believe that the mind has a great power over the body, i saw some cases of people overcoming illnesses and accidents in short times that amazes doctors because they refuse to "take it lying down" and they start to get active and pretend that's nothing wrong with them and it works for many people.. even with cancer and some incurable diseases at least they suffer less and get better if not totally cured ..

I do not believe in ESP but I do believe in mind over body. I hope that makes sense. I use biofeedback to lower my blood pressure. I can lower it quite a bit too. When My daughter was about 8 years old, she had a really bad athma attack. We took her to the Emergency Room and they could not even get an IV in her arm because she was so upset and stressed that her blood pressure went sky high and she immediately dehydrated. I ask the nurse to please leave us alone a few minutes. I calmly talked her through using biofeedback methods. Her blood pressure went down and they could get the IV In. I can sometimes make my pain less by using biofeedback also. The Doctors are amazed at how I can lower my blood pressure though. They hooked me up to the monoter just to see how much I could lower it. I also believe that the quality of our life has alot to do with our peronal attitude. I believe that we do have some control over our lives.

Yes, it is really effective and also a great help for us in terms of disciplining our body to a way we want it to. And ESP is still an issue interms of explaining it's essence..

I feel mind and body are two independentthings. But they have good interconnection. It depends on how well they connected.
