Mercy killing- Justifiable or unjustifiable, Agree or do not agree

It is some sort of escaping form the long pain and tolerace one is undergoing and has will undergo till his death. I think it is better give him a life without pain if he is no more curable and will suffer in pain till death. Any suggestions please

I think that if a person is ill with a serious disease, is in a lot of pain and will die soon as there is no hope of a cure, then if they want to be killed we should let them. Making them suffer for longer isn't fair. We shoot animals who are suffering or give them lethal injections, so why don't we do that for humans?
