Music : Pleasing or Ear Deafening

Music in the normal course should be pleasant to the ears. That was what it was meant to be. That is the music I love to listen. A music should give us the sense of calm, quiet and serene environment, like we feel when in the forest or near a mountain stream. But today the music with thousands watts of noise accompanied by zooming and flashing of dazzling light has become a way of life. Excitement in any form always appeals to man; but the end result of it is disaster. The simple explanation to any question could be : if people like something, let them enjoy it. But is it not harmful?

music maybe a dancing and gathering place for some. it ia very subjective you know. here in california, people in cars blast music to gain attention.
hey, i think you get less reponses to your discussions because you dont answer the folks that respond to you. i see that from your list... try to answer maybe?
