What do you think about the transfer of David Beckham from Real Madrid to L.A. Galaxy? Is it good for american club or bad? I think it's good for the game he plays and also good for marketing because he can get enormous sells.

Yeah, I guess is the right financial decision but he can also play soccer for at least 3-4 years at a high level. I've seen also that he was on the field on the last game of Real Madrid. Hope he will play quality soccer in U.S.

yeah, that's right but he could get money staying to Real Madrid. But I consider that he make a mistake because he will player a lower class soccer that he did play in Spain. Anyway, hope he will stay healthy:D

We have to ask why David Beckham is going to LA Galaxy? Its not for the competive football thats for sure! He had plenty of offers to stay in Europe. This is purely a financial reason although a great move for an awesome sportsman i feel the move was a year or two too soon as Beckham is now playing some of his best football since his Man U days.

I think david can bring a new age to american soccer...why we like him?It takes the effort of an extraordinary and talented player to take the game of soccer to new levels, and David Beckham is the kind of player who makes fans stand up.David Beckham is a pop star in a soccer uniform. Not only is he married to Victoria Adams, the Spice Girl formerly known as Posh, but he is the most famous footballer in the world. He is the pretty boy, rock star and teen idol of England, even though he no longer plays for the English Premiership.

I like the idea but I still don't think soccer will be popular in the U.S. regardless of Beckham playing here. In America the NFL (National Football League) is the most popular league. If soccer wants to be popular in America then a HUGE American player will have to emerge or the U.S. will have to win a World Cup on the Mens side.

i think it would be great for american football. he is going to america as a ambassdor of football. he is definetly going to take football to another level in america. I think he had signed in pressure because at that point of time capello said he wont consider beckham for rest of the season.
