QUESTION: Why is Grey's Anatomy titled as such?

Do you know the nature behind the title of this series? Any wild guess?

Yes, as the others said it is in reference to the famous medical book "Gray's Anatomy", and since the main character on the show is Meredith Grey, they changed the spelling from "Gray's" to "Grey's"

Well thank you all for participating in this trivia. You were all correct. It's that famous medical reference book that I once used in med school. Never did it occur to me that it would be the inspiration for the famous series we all love. Keep supporting Grey's Anatomy.

For decades, the formost reference book on human physiology has been "Grey's Anatomy". I assume that since the show is about medicine, the title has something to do with the famous book of the same name.

Because Dr. Merideth Grey is the narrator of the show. As you know they are interns at a hospital... so anatomy does with the human body. Hence Greys Anatomy! it is perfect...
