Useless talents

Ok we all have at least one…
Useless talents, things we can do rarely others can, yet won’t ever be an advantage to us in any way shape or form. Mine is I can fold my tongue to make an M, like what is in the picture. My brother can bend his thumb all the way back at the first joint and make it touch the bottom of his thumb. YUCK!!!
How about you, what is yours or someone you know useless talent?

No doesn't hurt at all, I just feel really silly for doing it!
I seen someone on TV do it one day and I just stuck my tongue out and did it. I was shocked. Of course I have always been one of those types that will try any goofy thing I see others do. :o)

Weeeeeellll .. now let me see ... ummm, giggles, no better not tell you about that ::blushes:: ... umm well I can bend the top section of my right hand little finger back towards my wrist so it's at 90 degrees with the rest of the finger .. it's looks a little odd !
I used to be able to do all sorts of things with my joints, but sadly arthritis has taken care of that ..

Arthritis, yep I have it also, in fact the only trick I can do with my fingers is watch them swell from time to time. I love getting old....NOT! LOL

My useless talent was to walk down the wall backwards and go into a crab position.
Many an innebrated night I would demonstrate this!!
Not so sure I would be as flexible now!!!!
Also, remembering lines from films is another one. Many a time I will recite from my favourite films when I am in situations that demand it!!!

OMG! I recite cartoons!!! I didn't even think about it, in fact that is one of things I am known for with the kids at school, it makes me cool you know ;o)

I don't I think any of this kind of useless talents but I have many creative talents that are useless for me because no one cares for it and i can't really make any money or get any recognition for it :(

Thanks, the black was a fluke, it was suppose to be transparent. However it always showed up black on the boards. I think the size of it made the diffrence. This one is smaller and it's working now.

Well if you think about it, we all have that talent in some form, just people such as politicians and lawyers, have perfected theirs! :o)

I too can bend my thumb all the way back to my rist(back not forword) It freaks people out and I guess it would help if I ever got arrested I can pop my thumb out of joint to get out of cuffs lol thats all its good for.

How amazing, I was driving home from town on Wednesday thinking about this very topic and wondering how I could make a discussion out of it. LOL.
I don't know if anyone outside of Australia will appreciate this but I was able to eat a hot meat pie while driving at 100klms an hour (one handed) without dropping anything on my jumper (except for a few pastry crumbs). Never fear, there was no other traffic, I live in the bush.
I can also bend my thumb back to my wrist. Ta-daaaaa. LOL.

LOL, yes I would say that is a talent, maybe one day if you are in hot pursuit and hungry, it's going to pay! :0P

Yes. My useless talent is I can recite all of the state names in the USA in alphabetical order. Very quickly. I've been doing this since about 5th grade (:

I can rotate my tongue so that the bottom is facing my cheek. I can turn it left and right, like a washing machine.

well, I must say I have never seen anyone display such flexibility and talent with their tongue as you have! that has me completely intrigued.
I can curl my tongue, which is only useful when in need of a pea shooter. I can bend my fingers at the first joint while keeping the middle joint straight, and bend my thumb backwards, and touch my wrist with the thumb. I can roll my eyes around in circles.
That is about as interesting as I get though.

I guess mine would have to be that I can raise one eyebrow at a time or move them up and down different directions. I can also wiggle my ears one at a time.

My useless talent is that I have a photographic memory concerning certain days in my life. It's not that I can remember every single day in my life, just that for some odd reason, I can recall things such as: on May 4, 1966, I watched a documentary about Leonard Da Vinci. Or, on Jan. 4, 1974, I saw Godfather Part 2. Or on some specific date, I did some ordinary, boring thing. :P
Totally useless! This talent has faded a bit as I've gotten older. I just wish I had a totally photographic memory, or at least that my useless talent was useful. :P

I don't know, THAT talent may pay off someday. I think it's a cool talent, one I sure wished I had. I can't remember a darn thing anymore.

Wow sunshine, that tongue looks interesting! I think the only useless talent that I have would be ....let's see, according to my husband I can go from 'zero to b!tch in less than 5 seconds!' Does that count? I mean, it is certainly useless (as who wants to be a b!tch?)and yet that is quite a remarkable feat isn't it...5 seconds?!

Well I can wiggle my ears, lol. I can also juggle, although this wouldn't be completely useless I suppose at some point in my life I can go join the circus or become a street performer, lol
