For those of you's that havent heard the news down here in Canada, it seems our biggest and most well known serial killer has finally started his trial after 5 years of police gathering evdience and waiting. Robert (Willie) Pickton 57 from BC ran his families pig farm. He now is facing 26 first degree murder charges and probably another 25 at least to come. Within six months of the February 2002 interview, police found three of the missing women's heads and their hands and feet on the Pickton farm as well as bones and teeth from other alleged victims. Police also recovered DNA from bones on the farm that matched the DNA from a skull found on the side of the road in Mission in 1995. Pickton accepts those body parts were found on the property but he denies he killed the women. Pickton is currently being tried for the murder of Andrea Joesbury, Mona Wilson, Sereena Abotsway, Marnie Frey, Georgina Papin and Brenda Wolfe. What I cant understand is this guy has been doing this since at least 1995 and no of his friends or family ever noticed anything? Actually follow the link to the whole story and he claims over 5 women knew he was doing what he was doing and even one of the women watched him skin another. Plus his brother was supposley in on it. I never though we would ever seen anything like this ever in the history of Canada but hey I geuss It dont matter where you live. Check out full trial details at the following link: http://www.primetimecrime.com/Recent/murder_%20Pickton.htm

OMG, it is scary what can be going on without one even realizing it. Just because someone appears normal everyone thinks they are. Most seriel killers no one ever suspects them of being it. THey have this image in mind for them and it's not that way. They aren't the crazies hiding in the woods that are wild looking. They are the people next door, ones who hold down jobs, who do things in the community. They blend in. That is what makes it harder to realize. Hopefully with this guy he is stopped once and for all.
