Most dating sites offer two fundamental ways to get in touch with a potential prospect. You can send an instant message, sometimes called a wink or flirt. Or you can send a traditional email. The instant message is of course quicker but much less personal and therefore less likely to earn a response back.

No there can not be real love from just dating on-line. That is just a start point. A place to meet people and get acquanted. But until you meet and date and really get to know each other there is no true love. The reason it can not be is because a person on-line can tell you anything they think you want to hear and make it seem like they are perfect. But until you look them in the eye and talk to them you will never ever truly know them. If anyone says they are in love and have not met yet they are in love with the written word not the person. My son once talked to a girl through IM for several weeks. She sent a picture. On a scale of 1-10 she was a 9.5. He thought she was fantastic. Then one day my daughter happened to be over and ask to see the picture. She could not beleive it because it was an actress she was familiar with. Now at that time my son had bought plane tickets to go see her. Clearly that ended that relationship. Once he confronted her about the picture it was over. So it is a place to meet only.

No, I do not believe you can have real true love online. You may be infatuated or fond of the person but until you meet face to face and spend time together in person there is no way of really knowing the person for themselves rather than just what they are saying online.

i dont think theres love over the net.maybe admiration or like.i do chat often and i chat with this girl,i like her but i dont feel love in her,i like her because of her strong principles in life,we have not meet yet.
