Psssst I have something to share with my friends...

Not sure if any of you have heard of this before, but a couple of friends of mine shared with me so now I'm passing it forward. :) There's a site online where you can sign up for free and they will send you free products to try at home. They just ask that you talk about the products to your friends and then tell the site about it. Like if they send you a box of candy bars - you try a few, maybe share some with friends and if you like them or don't like them you write to the site and tell them about it. I've only been doing it for a little while but I've already received a box of Take 5 Candy Bars, a pack of Windex Cleaning Cloths, a complete SoniCare Electric Toothbrush kit, a bottle of OmegaRX pills and a bunch of other stuff. I'm also currently waiting for a box of Atkins Bars that I just signed up to get. When the site has a new product they think you might like to try, they will email you and then you can sign up for it or not. If you want to check it out yourself, go to www.bzzagent.com I do not get anything for sharing it with you - I just think it's neat and more people should join. If you do, write back on here and let me know! :) Or if you are already a BzzAgent, jump in and share your experience too. I'd love to hear.

Oh, this is such a cool site!! Thank you so much, HeavenUnaware! I've gotten paid for taking surveys about products before, but that was mostly through Pinecone Research, and they stopped sending me surveys a long time ago, unfortunately. I got to try out a few really nice things, like a new Doritos product once, and hmm I can't think of what else *laugh* Anyway, even though this site doesn't pay, it sounds like you could get to try out some really neat new products. I've bookmarked the site and am going to look into it further when I get more time.

Awesome! I hope you like it. I forgot to mention that each time you do things through that site (like complete a "campaign") they will award you points. You can see how many you have on your main Bzz page on the left. When you are active in a campaign you have the option to spend your points to get free stuff. It will say Redeem Your Points on that page when you have enough. Some things only take 80 points, some go high like 500 or 1000 points. So not only are you getting free products but you are earning points that you can redeem on stuff too. The items you can redeem for change all the time too. Anyhow, enjoy!

Oh, lovely - you *do* get compensation of some kind, then! What kinds of things can you redeem points for? I actually was thinking of joining up anyway, even before I saw what you said about the points here, since I was replying to your topic from email & couldn't see the reponses until I sent my reply. Anyway, that's great! ^_^

The items you can 'buy' with your points changes all the time. They have a limited amount and once they run out, they replace it with something else. I've seen kitchware and gadgets, purses, watches, perfume, make-up, bath stuff, towels, toys, little knick-knack type things, magazines and you can also donate your points to a charity which equals out to money for the charity. You can only redeem them when you are active in a campaign. If you don't, then they just roll over until the next campaign comes along. The more you "Bzz" about a product and report back, the more points you can earn. It's a pretty neat site. The Sonicare toothbrush alone is valued at over $100 at the store and we got it for free brand new in the box - all just to spread word of mouth about it! The site has lots of information and facts so make sure you read it all. Enjoy!!

I got the sonicare toothbrush, too. I gave it to my stepsister for Christmas. She loved it :). I just signed up for the aquapod campaign, have you signed up for that one? I also got in as a beta tester (well, my son did) for Kajeet, a cellphone service for tweens. They sent him a $100 camera phone for free and gave him $65 credit to his account to get him started. I love bzz agent. I can't recommend it highly enough.

I gave my toothbrush to my husband.. actually I take that back, he STOLE it from me before I had a chance to use it! He loves it so he bzz's to me about it. *hah* I haven't seen the aquapod campaign, what is it? Kajeet sounds very cool - was that through BzzAgent too or it's own site? I wonder if my son can sign up.. hmm

When kajeet was in beta testing, they did it through bzzagent. Now, you can just go to the kajeet website and purchase a phone if you want one. Aquapod: Poland Spring has come out with small, roundish water bottles marketed towards kids. I probably qualified because I have two kids under 15. They are going to send me 2 aquapods and an "aquapod kit". I'll let you know what it turns out to be.

Have you redeemed any of your points yet? I was just wondering about how many it takes to be able to get different things. I've only been a member for about two weeks and I am only active in two campaigns. One of the ones I'm active in is the carbonite campaign. Did you participate in that one? It's pretty good. It's the first backup to somewhere else that I've actually used because most of them cost so much or slow your computer down. This one does neither. Ooops, I didn't mean to start spreading buzz in your discussion. :) But if you have it as an available campaign you really should try it, otherwise you can still get it for free. Just let me know you want it and I will go ahead and give you the full buzz including the password. :)

The carbonite campaign is for a file storage service that backs up your files to an outside source. You pay like $50 or so a year and they store your files for you in case your computer crashes. It's really easy to use and doesn't slow your computer down at all while you have it running. The website is carbonite.com and the password for the free trial is bzz. You don't have to give a credit card or anything so you don't have to worry about cancelling before the time is over if you decide you don't want to keep it. Just go on and renew before your free month is over if you want to keep it without interuption.

I have no redeemed my points yet - I only have 119 so far but I haven't done alot of bzzing like I should. I just checked and the lowest thing I can redeem for right now is 80 points for a bath item or I can donate 50 points to charity. I did not take part in the carbonite campaign, I'm not sure what it is. No problem about bzzing.. spread all the bzz you want :)

Maybe we're not as lucky as you guys, because it isn't available here in our country. I hope they would also be testing their products here.

You should check it out again because I signed up a week or so ago for the Atkins Campaign and I got a box full of their bars a couple of days ago in the mail. 15 chocolate chip granola bars and 15 peanut carmel nugget bars (like a snickers). They are Atkins bars so they are low carb but they are yummy! My teenage son loves them and has already eaten 3 himself and my husband likes them after he works out at night too. I also just signed up for the Aveeno lotion campaign - I love Aveeno products but this is an anti-aging moisturizer. I should get it in the mail in a week or two. Can't wait! Hope everyone is enjoying the site and even if you don't have any good campaigns yet, stick with it and when you do get one.. make sure you report your buzz so you'll get more requests and products.

I signed up for that about 6 months ago. I got a welcome packet from a microbrewery in town, but all it had was a couple of coupons. I don't know if maybe I'm just not checking it enough, but I haven't gotten any other offers. I did all sorts of surveys they have, but can't do anything else until I do a Bzzz. But they don't have any for me. I was hoping for a box of the Take 5's that everyone on LCF was getting... :-( I'll have to check it out again.

Keep checking the website - like once a week if you can. Sometimes the campaigns show up on your invitations on your main page. Did you do all of the surveys? Make sure you did all of them. I'm surprised you aren't getting more chances to bzz. I got lucky with the Take 5's, someone tipped me off to the campaign so I checked the site and got an invitation right away. All I can think is that you might need to visit the site more. I hope you get some offers soon!

I have been a bzz agent for a while now and I LOVE it! I've been able to bzz about all sorts of things, from the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner to gourmet coffee to a bestselling novel. The more active you are (be sure and submit all of those bzzreports!) the more campaigns they will offer you. The points can add up, but the trouble is that the spending opportunities go very fast. Most of the campaigns offer reward items that cost a certain number of points. They have some really cool stuff sometimes, but it is very limited so you have to be fast! Usually you're only allowed to "buy" a reward AFTER you've submitted your first bzzreport for that campaign. Either way, though, it is fun!

i have signed up too. however i have been waiting for some time for my validation email. i think because of you posting this the site had become busy. i hope you will get credit for that. i hope because i gave them my telephone number that does not mean i will be getting annoying telephone marketers calling me at dinner time :)
