I have noticed in some chatrooms that the participants engage in a game of "let's pretend" like they'll name the chat room "so and so's ar and grill" or something like that, and then along with the conversation they type in in parenthesis what they would be doing if they were standing at the bar or in the pool room talking to one another. I think it's cute. Do You? Like they'll type in "I have no idea why she's so mad dude you would have to talk to her."(Picks up drink off of bar, takes a sip, turns to set it back on the bar, they decide to hold it and sip at it instead.) then the reply wil be. (Signalling the bartender for 2 more drinks, put's hand next to you on bar and moves in a little closer.) "So you're not mad at me are you?" (reaches out and moves a whisp of hair that had fallen over ___'s eyes.)" Stuff like that, it seems to make the chatting more interesting to me. Because you not only have to keep up the whitty repartee but also exercise social skills like your're actually out of the house and interacting with people. Which let's admit it, to much time online and in chatrooms will atrophy your social skills in a hurry if you are not careful!
