without any doubt federrer is the best. although nadal's record is better on the clay grounds but for any other court federrer is the king. just see at the points. federrer is at 8000+ whereas points for nadal are just over 4000

It all depends on what court they are playing on. Federer is clearly the most dominant on Hard court and Grass Court. Raphael Nadal is clearly the best on Clay court, there is no doubt about that. Overall, I would have to say Federer, he brings his game all the time, except for the upset from Ratomir Dujkovic or whatever. Everyone is allowed to lose a few times, even the champ.
