When you were a kid did your parents expect you to get straight a's?

my parents always expected me to get straight a's and when i didn't they got mad a little and i felt like saying chill its a high b, i can't be perfect all the time but i didn't.

My parents didn't expect me to get straight A's but they would have liked me to get them. I did very well at my exams and got quite a few straight A's so they were happy enough with that.

My parents never expected me to get the best grades. they always expected me to do my best. You should have told them noone can be perfect all the time. How many people are best at everything?
