As a fellow Aries it is hard to take that question as a serious topic--do you mean to be metaphoric? The literal answer is it is the largest organ of the human body, made of proteins, oils, hair, etc. Metaphorically you can kind of pick a religion.

Absolutely masses of things. The skin is an enormously complicated organ and, sadly it would simply not be possible to tackle such a huge question here.
