I can say I have a healthy and happy relationship, maybe this is one of the reasons why my friends open my bedroom door at 6 in the morning while Im still in my pajamas asking for advice... :) (imagine I havent brushed my teeth yet.. ew... lol!) Now this happen not so long ago, My friend (again with the same scenario), asked how to determine if a relationship is really over... I think I have given her all the advice this heart and soul of mine can give.. She was beaten up by her boyfriend, and I told her, It's not love anymore... For me, hurting, I mean PHYSICALLY, the one you love is never an indication of love... She said, I didn't understand... because I haven't yet experienced that worst challenge in a relationship (which I don't think (physical abuse) is!!!) Can somebody enlighten me... I really don't understand why, people still forgive somebody for hitting and beating them up... I am open for others point of view... Maybe my friend is right.. or maybe I am just uptight because I haven't experienced it.. Or could I be really right about it.. Thanx! Good day guys!

I think you're absolutely right that when abuse occurs, the relationship SHOULD be over. But for a lot of reasons, women stay with men who beat them. A lot of times, it's because they're afraid of what will happen if they don't. Or they don't want to be alone. Or, psychologically, they start to think that maybe they deserved it. There are any number of reasons. If your friend is in a physically abusive relationship and won't leave it, she probably ought to be in professional counseling.

Physical or any forms of abuse is never an indication of love. Some still do stick around despite not because of love but more of insecurity. They feel that losing the unhealthy relationship will break their lives. It's so sad but those who are this state of relationship needs support from their loves to go through the process of letting go.

What the hell was he thinking? Beat'n her up? This is not a guy thing what the guy did to her, tell your friend that its finally over with her guy! If the guy still persist that its not yet over... if his in baguio call me so i will be the one to beat up with this guy! I have a mother and a sister so i have a problem with men beaten up with women. I respect women at all cost.
