My favourite one is Alison Krauss. If you will listen to her classic,'When you say nothing at all' you will fall in love with her dulcet and beautiful voice.

I agree with you on Barbra Streisand. What an amazing instrument! And have you ever heard that she was once encouraged to have a nose job in her early career, so that she would look prettier. If she had done it, her voice might have changed, perhaps drastically, so I'm very glad she did not. And anyway, I find her very beautiful anyway, but talent is always a draw for me. Another really uniquely beautiful voice, before her health problems in recent years, is Julie Andrews. So many octaves, so clear, so amazing! I'm glad there are so many recordings of her (and Barbra too for that matter) since Julie is no longer able to sing like that after having throat problems.

Without a doubt it has to be Freddie Mercury. He could sing anything from heavy rock to soft rock, from Ballads to opera. And everytime he put every bit of feeling into it.

I'd have to say Sandy Denny and Ian Anderson, Robert Plant has a good voice but you can't really call it beautiful it just seems wrong somehow.

Yes, calling Robert Plant's voice beautiful is a little of a stretch.
