Here it is! The infamous "DUMP CAKE" recipe!

Dump Cake
- preheat oven to 350F
In a 13 x 9 in baking pan, Grease with one whole stick of melted butter or margarine (use it all!).
Now "dump" one can of cherry (or blueberry) pie filling and spread evenly, then "dump" one can of drained crushed pineapple and spread over pie filling.
Open a box of JIFFY vanilla cake mix OR Jiffy plain bisquit mix and shake the mix all over the top of the fillings.
"Dump" into oven for about 30 minutes to bake.
Eat warm with ice cream, whipped cream, Cool Whip or cold. All in less than an hour to make

I love the whole "dump" part. It just makes me want to "dump" it into my stomach lol. You're making me hungry and it's nearly 11pm here. But I'm a slave to cake lol. I don't care what time it is, when it calls, I'll com-a running! It sounds pretty easy, so I'm going to print it out so I can try making it tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes, once I'm done "dumping" it in my stomach! Thanks!

That does sound delicious. I am not sure, but I may have had something similar in the previous year, and I do remember liking it, it was blueberry. I like blueberry a lot more than cherry. And, I like pineapple too. I am not a big fan of fruity cakes, but this sounds like the one I had before, and it was de-lish. Thanks, I hope to have a chance to make it.

Dump cake is such a yummy quick dessert!! We love it around here.
I've also dumped yellow cake mix on top instead of the Jiffy kind. It's come out just as well. I haven't tried biscuit mix yet - might have to try that. I have a few extra boxes running around here. Hmmmm....
