XBOX 360 HD-DVD or UPconvert DVD Player with HDMI???

I am kinda in a dilema....dont know whether i should go with
the addtion of the HD-DVD from Xbox or go with upconversion to
1080P DVD player....any pros and cons.....has anybody heard
anything on performance? i know upconversion will have HDMI
ouput and xbox goes through component cables ?? any suggestions?
