Before I went back to work I used to redecorate nearly every couple of weeks, always changing one thing or another.
My family said my home was like the Severn Bridge!!
Since I went back to work I have neglected my home and often I look around now and notice all the things that need doing.
I am determined during the summer holidays to start where I left off!!

Well I don't really redecorate, but I love to rearrange my furniture quite a bit. Just changing it around from time to time gives it a whole new look.

I hate decorating with a passion since we moved in, exactly three years ago, I have painted the living room ONCE, the kitchen has never been done, my bedroom ONCE and the stairs and landing ONCE. It's rented accommodation, I hated the original colour of lilac, ewww and my bedroom was a horrid blue colour. I am not thinking of doing it again, once is enough to keep the landlord happy.

Never, I move things around a bit, but I live in a rental apartment with only 4 rooms and a bath; so the decorating is done by the owner. We have only lived here for a little over 3 years and the living room was the only room to have my input in it. The rest were her choice before I got here but she has excellent taste~Donna

I like to do one room per year too although once you have done one room the rest look like they need doing again! Last year I did my bathroom and hallway and this year I shall be redecorating my living room!

I do it once a year, together with the yearly spring cleaning, in anticipation of the new year. :)

I just decorate it as it needs to be done. However, I find that according as I decorate one room the others look shabby and I have to start on the next room then. I am going to start on the kitchen and dining romm after Easter, so I suppose I will have to do the living room also as that is right beside the dining room. I don't really like decorating but it has to be done.

Truthfully, once in a blue moon .. I still have the original wall colours and woodwork paint that was on when I moved in (brand new home) .. and I got this place in 1987 .. until about 3-4 years ago it was still all nice and clean and white looking .. but this last few years I've not been able to wash round so often so it now needs a coat of paint ..
That's the beauty of not smoking and not having kids though isn't it .. all the paintwork and walls stay nice and clean hehehe
Whem I move (sometime in the next year or so) I shall get a decorator in and have the whole place redone .. white paintwork and neutral walls .. so it's all nice and clean and fresh and ready to move into ..
