Well, after weeks of speculation and a few days rumors, the Preds finally complete the trade for Forsberg. They give up Scottie Upshaw, and prospect Ryan Parent and two draft picks to get him. He becomes a free agent at the end of the season.
So, the question is, good deal or bad deal? Is this a blessing or a curse? Will Forsberg help the Preds win the Cup?
Personally, I think this will be the final piece of the puzzle. It will make the Preds deeper, making three primo lines. I'm salivating over having Forsberg matched with Radulov. There shouldn't be any low scoring games any more.

I am very disappointed that my Flyers traded him away as he is one of or the best player in hockey. I can see why they did it since he can not stay healthy anymore and just hope that the players that they got for him will do well and help my Flyers do well next season. If Forsberg can stay healthy, he will certainly help out the Predators. I think after the season is over, Forsberg will probably go back to the Flyers since he said that he loved Philly so this will probably be a short term stint with the Predators.

That's been the concern here. Everyone wants to know if he'll stay. It's already being termed "renting" him. I imagine if we win the Cup and get others to stay, he might be interested in staying if a dynasty can be built.
